Matt: The Doctor is a rather brilliant, mad, boffin, befuddled scientist who travels the universe, has two hearts of pure gold, has an instinct of pure genius, he doesn’t suffer fools gladly, he’s the most intelligent man in the universe, he likes pretty women to come traveling around with him…
Karen: Aww.

Karen: *sigh*
Matt: I think he likes tea, he likes jammy dodgers…
Karen: He likes tea?
Matt: Yeah, absolutely.
Karen: Your Doctor likes tea?
Matt: Yeah. I want to have a cup of tea in the Tardis.
Karen: We should do that sometime. I think Amy would like tea.
Matt: Tea and biscuits.
Karen: Green tea.
Matt: No.
Karen: Amy likes green tea.
Matt: No, no, no… Why? You just made that up!
Karen: Yeah, i have. That’s her favorite hot drink. Green tea.
Matt: Why?
Karen: She loves it! She can’t get enough of it.
Matt: How long have you had a crush on me?
Karen: WHAT?
Matt: That’s the question. No, it’s not really.
Karen: I was part of the costume process. I like to think I had a bit of input there. I worked with the costume designer and we just thought that was one of the things that Amy likes to wear.
Matt: She’s kind of sexy isn’t she, Amy?
Karen: Yeah, she’s got a sexy side and she’s confident enough to wear those sorts of things.
Matt: She is.
Matt: who’s your favorite companion of the past and what’s it like to walk in her footsteps?
Karen: My favorite companion…
Matt: Although, i don’t think you’re walking in their footsteps, i think you’re carving out your own footsteps. She’s completely unique, Amy Pond.
Karen: Oh, thanks Matt.

“That’s the best thing about Matt’s acting, that you think you know what he’s going to do, but then he’ll do something else. He likes to do the opposite of what people expect him to do, and that’s really great for me to react off as well. He’ll do stuff to evoke things in me that he’s never done before, and it gets a real reaction out of me. He’s generous like that. He likes to take the risk as an actor, he likes to be brave and put himself out there, and that’s quite a scary thing to do. It takes some guts.
